Meet Santa
Santa is a designer and artist based in Chiswick, London. Originally from a small seaside town in Latvia, she moved to London at 19 to study design.
Working as a graphic designer by day and an artist by night, her practice evolved from digital illustration into clay portraits and later acrylic and oil paintings. Influenced by Verner Panton, Space Age and the 70s, her work balances colour and playfulness through instinct-led experimentation.
Every piece is, of course, carefully supervised by her studio assistant, Rudy (short for Rudolph) — the self-appointed CEO who ensures quality control by sitting on most works in progress.
