Introduction

I picked up painting again to reconnect with my art school roots and bring more colour into my rented London apartment. Searching for a personality in a temporary space, I unexpectedly fell in love with painting all over again.

Birth

Acrylic on plywood, 1400 x 930 mm, 2026

Birth is an intuitive rebellion against a climate of exhaustion, conflict, and ecological grief. In a world weighed down by heavy realities, choosing tenderness is a radical act. This shaped pink iris—bursting open with raw vitality—demands space for softness and beauty, proving that life does not ask for permission to bloom, even amidst the ruin.

Current

Acrylic on plywood, 1460 x 1000 mm, 2026

A sister piece to Birth

Current is the pulse of life moving from quiet intuition into fierce, surging presence. Towering in cutouts of fluid blues with an electric heart, it embodies the power of staying fluid and unbroken against the rigid weight of our modern crises. It is not an escape from reality, but a flood of vivid vitality meant to drown out the apathy around us.

Proxy

Acrylics on plywood, 850 x 210 mm, 2026

Proxy explores power as performance and authority as costume. Designed to absorb attention, blame, and belief on behalf of a familiar appearance. The work reflects on how leadership is often reduced to a surface.
